"Home of the Gods"
Short Fiction 1947 9,560 words
  • This is one of three known instances where A.E. van Vog'ts (admittedly difficult!) name was misspelt in the byline. Here, he was credited as "E.A. van Vogt" on the front cover. For "The Beast," he was credited as "A.B. van Vogt" despite the fact that Astounding Science Fiction had by that time printed over two dozen of his stories. And in 1937 his pre-SF story "To Be His Keeper" credited to "Alfred Alton Bogt."
