From here you can download all of the cover images and illustrations featured in the new A.E. van Vogt bibliography with a single click. Also available for download are the old Earthlink version of this site, as well as an archived version of Magnus' Weird Worlds site for offline viewing. And assorted PDF, ZIP, and MP3 files are linked to from various pages on this site — this Downloads page makes it easier to find what you're looking for without having to wade through endless pages.

I've compiled all of the van Vogt book and magazine covers, as well as interior illustrations, into these handy downloadable ZIP files. All of the images can be most conveniently downloaded by clicking on the "All Images" link below. Be aware, though, that this file is quite large.

Slanology
My detailed plot summary of Slan, along with a comparison of the 5 different versions of the novel, is part of a larger worked called Slanology, a comprehensive guide meant to be read as a companion to the novel. It covers virtually every aspect of the story and the fictional world where it takes place. A new updated version is now available as a series of HTML pages, but people may still wish to download the old PDF.

The Three Worlds of Null-A
The World of Null-A appeared in three different versions — the original 1945 magazine serial, the 1948 hardback version which was a complete re-write of the serial, and finally the slightly-revised 1970 paperback version. I have written a plot summary of all three versions, in parallel columns for easy comparison, in the form of a book-length study entitled The Three Worlds of Null-A. I intend to soon release an updated version as a series of HTML pages, but in the meantime it's only available in PDF format.

John C. Wright — Sci Fi Dimensions Podcast
This lengthy podcast interview with John C. Wright conducted by John C. Snider was originally available on the Sci Fi Dimensions website. However, that website was taken down in 2010, so I've decided to make it available here. Mostly related to van Vogt, it contains much material of interest, and nicely complements my own interview with Wright.
